Tracking daily nutrition…

Recently I started walking with www.boiserunwalk.com and community wellness here in Boise.  It is a really great group of people.   Recently our group went to Idaho Athletic club to hear a personal trainer speak to us on fitness/nutrition.  My friend and I booked a “fitness evaluation”.  Anyway to make a long story short…I was pointed to a really cool tool for tracking nutrition:  www.thedailyplate.com.  It is great…you just set your nutrition goals….my is 1700 calories a day, and then you plug in what you eat, and how much you move, and it calculates everything for you!  It is the slickest way to track your calories in and out to maintain, gain, or lose weight.  So I just had to let you all know about this.  It is free too!  It tracks calories, fat, carbs, sodium, etc.  So it helps you see what you need nutritionally, over time also.
